Personal Information
Omicron Biochemicals, Inc. does not collect personal information on our web site, other than what you voluntarily submit by using a form. Any information you submit is strictly for use by Omicron Biochemicals, Inc. to communicate with you or to obtain the necessary information regarding an order or quote request. This information will not be sold, rented, or given away. We do not store any customer information on our Web server.
Cookies
The Omicron Biochemicals, Inc. web site does not use cookies.
Statistical Site Data
Our web server does collect technical data which we may use to improve our Web site to better serve our visitors. This data includes the IP address of each visitor, the address of each referring URL (the page that a visitor came from), and the browser and platform type of each visitor, as well as the date and time that each page and file on our Web site was accessed. Although it may be possible to link an IP address to a specific computer or individual, we do not link it to any personally identifiable information or track individual user sessions. The information we gather is of an aggregate nature to assist us in the evaluation of our site and to allow us to monitor site traffic. This information may be accessed by our Web site host company, ipowerweb.com.

Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)
Our Secure Order Form is served using Secure Sockets Layer(SSL) technology. The use of this security technology will be indicated to you by the presence of a small gold padlock icon in your browser (usually in the status bar at the bottom) and a URL (Internet address) that begins with "https://", with the "s" standing for secure.
SSL Certificate Strength:
SSL Certificates either come in 40 bit or 128 bit strength. Our server uses a 128-bit shared certificate.
Encryption
If you submit credit card information in the appropriate fields using our Secure Order Form, that information will be immediately encrypted using a 768 bit key and an RFC2440 (OpenPGP) compliant application before it is forwarded to Omicron Biochemicals, Inc. for processing. We do not store any credit card or order information on our Web server. During processing, the unencrypted credit card information is not stored on a network accessible computer.
Credit Card Options
Use of a credit card for purchase of our products is optional. If you do wish to use a credit card for payment, but prefer not to send your card information over the Internet, you may telephone or fax us the information. Print out your order information and write the card information on it. Our telephone, fax, and address are on the order form.
