UV-VIS Spectrophotometry

Products that absorb radiation at wavelengths ranging 190-900 nm (e.g., nucleosides, nucleotides, oligonucleotides) are analyzed/quantified when appropriate on a Beckman DU Series 70 UV-VIS spectrophotometer. This instrument can be operated in single wavelength or scanning modes. Software is available for single component and multicomponent quantitative analysis, for kinetic analysis, and for gel scanning.
